Co-Pastor: Lady Anita Pittman
Lady Anita Pittman was born in Laurinburg, NC. She is the eldest of two children. She grew up in the small town of Maxton, NC.
After graduation from high school she attended Saint Augustine’s College on a four year track and field scholarship. She graduated with a degree in Business Education. She was a dean’s list student every semester and graduated with honors. While in college she met her husband and friend

Immediately after graduation from St. Augustine’s she accepted a position as a High School Business Teacher, where she taught for six years in Wake County Schools.
She resigned from the school system to be a stay at home mom to their first child Oliver Jr. While at home she finished her Master’s Degree from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. She received her Master’s in School Counseling.
She graduated NC Central, Summa Cum Laude in 2000. She graduated one month after having her 2nd child Olivia. Upon returning back to work, Anita was a school counselor for 4 years in the Wake County School System. Anita and Oliver had their 3rd child Octavia in 2007.
The Pittman’s have been married since 1993 and have been pastoring Sure Promise Christian Church in Raleigh, NC since 2002. Anita accepted her call into the ministry in 1996. She is and ordained Elder in Sure Promise and in the Explosion Ministry Fellowship Association of Churches.
Anita is a pillar in the ministry and allows God to use her in multiple facets of the ministry as a Praise Team Leader, Teacher, Choir Director, Church Administrator, Dance Team member, Youth leader, and Founder of Women Pushing With Purpose Ministry. She is also faithful to her Leader and Pastor and serves beside him with a spirit of excellence.
She has learned over the years: When excellence is possible, then good is not enough.
